Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work flexibly within a specialist school supporting pupils aged 6-16 with SEMH needs. You will assist teachers, support emotional regulation, and help create a safe, engaging learning environment.

You choose the days you are available, with assignments running 08:15–15:00 during term time. Ideal candidates are calm, patient, and resilient, with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting young people with

Qualifications

• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Interest in supporting young people with additional needs.
• Ability to adapt to different situations.
• Experience working with children or vulnerable groups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils aged 6-16 with SEMH needs.
• Assist teachers with engaging lessons.
