Job summary

All's Well School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learners with social, emotional and mental health needs. You will help create opportunities, build relationships and guide young people to progression.

Join a caring team; you will deliver tailored activities, promote wellbeing and work closely with teachers to support learner progress and transitions into further education or training.

Qualifications

• Qualified to a minimum of Level 2 in English and Maths (GCSE 4/C or equivalent).
• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs is desirable.
• Ability to build positive relationships with learners, families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of learning programmes tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with activities in and outside the classroom.
• Build positive relationships with learners while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Promote confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing.
• Encourage positive behaviour and overcoming barriers to education.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and external professionals.
