Job summary

Caterlink Ltd. is seeking a Chef Manager for Shenstone School Belvedere to ensure nutritionally balanced and tasty meals. The role is term-time only with no weekends, offering 25 hours per week across 39 weeks per year.

The manager will lead kitchen operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation while maintaining Caterlink’s high standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering within educational settings preferred.
• Ability to manage and supervise a site team.
• Strong Health & Safety and Food Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure location meets statutory and company Health & Safety requirements.
• Maintain excellent food quality and service and exceed client expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day running of the site, including budgets and inventories.
• Serve as main client contact in the school and implement improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets with your line manager.
• Train and develop team members to ensure high performance.
