Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd in Bath is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our established team at prestigious contracts. You will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, assist with setting up dining areas, and maintain hygiene standards throughout service.

The role is term-time plus 48 weeks, 40 hours per week, on a 5-out-of-7 rota, with on-site parking and opportunities for on-the-job training within a leading independent catering company.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering environment.
• Experience serving customers in a catering establishment.
• Teamwork and communication skills; ability to work on own initiative.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take responsibility.
• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads.
• Good spoken English and written English.

Responsibilities

• Serve clients during breakfast, lunch or dinner service.
• Set up dining room for service.
• Prepare food following hygiene and safety standards.
• Keep kitchen and service areas clean and tidy.
• Restock stocks and assist during peak periods.
