Job summary

School-Home Support is seeking a dedicated SHS Family Support Practitioner (School-Based) to work within St Paul’s Trust School in Birmingham. The role focuses on improving attendance, punctuality and engagement, collaborating with school staff to deliver a programme of casework for children and families.

The position is term-time only, 35 hours per week plus inset days, with a salary of £22,274 – £24,796 per annum. A supportive induction and safeguarding commitments are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in an education setting to improve attendance and engagement.
• Ability to engage with parents, carers and children through individual and group work.
• Understanding safeguarding processes and referral routes for safeguarding children.
