Job summary

School-Home Support seeks a Family Support Practitioner to work at Ashmount Primary School, 2 days per week in term-time. The role focuses on improving attendance, punctuality and engagement in learning, with DBS checks and induction provided.

You will deliver casework in partnership with school staff, build strong relationships with families from diverse backgrounds, and contribute to safeguarding processes while making a meaningful difference in children’s lives.

Qualifications

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with a proven ability to engage with a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

• Based at the setting, deliver a programme of casework to promote and improve educational outcomes for the children and families we support.
• Focus on improving attendance, punctuality and engagement in learning.
• Work in partnership with school staff to support safeguarding and family support activities.
