School-Home Support is seeking a Family Support Practitioner to join our school-based team in Watford. You will deliver targeted casework to promote attendance and engagement, working closely with school staff to support children and families.
You will engage with parents and carers, provide group and one-to-one support, and apply holistic approaches to remove barriers to learning. The role is term-time only, with inset days, based at Future Academies Watford.
Location: Future Academies Watford , Horseshoe Ln, Watford WD25 7HW
Hours: 5 days Per Week, 8.30-4 pm, Term-time only plus inset days
Salary: £22,274-£24,796 (term-time only, salary in line with working weeks)

We are looking for a Family Support Practitioner to join our team and make a difference in children's lives every single day. As the Practitioner, you will be based at the setting and work in close partnership with school staff to deliver a programme of casework to promote and improve educational outcomes for the children and their families we support. You will also focus on improving attendance, punctuality and engagement in learning. You will have excellent relationship-building and communication skills and a proven ability to communicate with a wide group of people.
