Job summary

South West Norse is recruiting a Mobile Catering Assistant to join on-site kitchen teams across Plymouth/Ivybridge and surrounding areas. The role is permanent, part-time, and term-time only, with duties including preparation, cooking and service of nutritious meals to students and staff.

You will need your own vehicle and a Full UK Driving Licence with business use insurance. The position offers a 20-hour week, Monday to Friday 9:30am–2:30pm, and a benefits package including pension, sickness

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience or willing to be trained in your new role.
• Friendly and polite customer service.
• Capable of working to deadlines in a busy environment.
• Working within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the catering service, including preparation, cooking, presentation and service of nutritious food and beverages to students and staff.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety and QA procedures.
• Provide customer-facing service with opportunities to learn and develop within the catering environment.
