Job summary

South West Norse is recruiting a Mobile Catering Assistant to join on-site kitchen teams across the Tiverton/Exeter area, with pay of £13.31 per hour. This casual position requires own vehicle and a Full UK Driving Licence with business use insurance.

You will assist with preparation, cooking, presentation and service of nutritious food and beverages while following food hygiene and safety procedures. Training is provided to enthusiastic individuals.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience or willing to be trained in your new role.
• Friendly and polite customer service.
• Capable of working to deadlines in a busy environment.
• Working within a team.

South West Norse is established in delivering catering, cleaning, and facilities management services to a portfolio of clients in the local region in partnership with Devon County Council, combining local knowledge with service delivery expertise.

As we recognise the importance of building a strong kitchen team to be a key ingredient to our catering success, we currently have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Mobile Catering Assistant join our well-equipped teams across Plymouth/Ivybridge and the surrounding areas.

The role:

You will be joining multiple on-site kitchen teams, supporting all aspects of the catering service including ensuring completion of the preparation, cooking, presentation and service of our nutritious food and beverage outlets to students and staff while complying with food hygiene, health and safety and QA procedures.

This customer facing role will provide you with great exposure to all aspects of the catering environment with lots of opportunities to learn and develop your skills within the industry.
