Job summary

St Mary's Church of England Primary School Amersham is seeking a Teaching Assistant for KS1 and/or KS2 to support learning and classroom activities. The role is term-time only and salaries are Bucks Pay pro rata (£24,630 to £25,823) dependent on experience.

In this fixed-term post, you will assist with pupil development, manage behaviour, support with displays and tasks, and help with safeguarding and welfare as required by the school. Visits welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children.
• Highly organised with good attention to detail.
• Self motivated, tenacious and flexible.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction of teaching staff.
• Attends to pupils' personal needs and welfare matters.
• Prepares classrooms and supports display of work; provides admin support.
• Assists with planning and delivery of learning activities and helps with outings.
