Job summary

St Mary’s RC Primary School in Radcliffe is seeking an HLTA to join a growing multi-academy trust journey. You will support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2, including planning and delivering lessons when the class teacher is unavailable and supporting small groups to raise pupil outcomes.

The post is term-time only, 27.5 hours per week, fixed term to 31 August 2026, with a salary within Grade 6 (£20,812–£22,988 actual).

Qualifications

• Proficient in English and Maths.
• Computer literacy, including using digital record-keeping software.
• Support learners' social and emotional well-being and liaise with teachers/pastoral leads.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning in classes across KS1 and KS2.
• Deliver small-group or 1:1 learning activities when required.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities; adapt activities to meet all learners' needs.
