Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced HLTA to join a large primary school in Kensington (L6), Liverpool. The role covers PPA time and cover for staff absences across KS1 and KS2, starting January 2026 on a fixed-term contract that may become permanent for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will hold an HLTA or equivalent qualification, be confident across KS1/KS2, and able to support the school’s inclusive ethos.

Qualifications

• HLTA or equivalent qualification is required.
• Experience delivering cover across KS1 and KS2 preferred.
• Ability to provide reliable classroom cover during PPA and staff absences.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom cover for PPA time and staff absences.
• Cover across KS1/KS2 as needed to support teaching timetable.
• Support school ethos and maintain consistent high standards of teaching.
