Job summary

All Saints CofE Primary School in East Kilbride is seeking a highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher and SENCo. The role is for 2 days a week, term time only, with responsibilities including teaching during PPA time, 1:1 support, and assisting with pupil progress.

You will work as part of a dedicated staff team to nurture, target and enable all children to thrive in a warm, happy environment, following school policies and safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in a school setting.
• Ability to maintain a positive, nurturing classroom environment.
• Willingness to participate in training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Teach a class during PPA time and provide cover during absence of teachers.
• Support the class teacher with 1:1 pupils or small groups to boost progress.
• Assist with observation, recording progress, and maintaining accurate records.
