Job summary

St Mary's RC Primary School in Denton is recruiting a HLTA to join our Upper Key Stage 2 team on a fixed term contract until 31 August 2027. The role is 35 hours per week, based at the school, with a salary range of £25,808 to £28,035 (SCP 17–22, actual salary, TTO).

The successful candidate will be child-centred, patient and creative, with experience of KS2 and a willingness to support the Catholic ethos of our school. A commitment to safeguarding and professional development is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Ability to contribute to and support the Catholic ethos of the school.
• Patient, creative and resourceful with a positive outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support learning in Upper Key Stage 2 and assist class teachers.
• Contribute to planning, preparation and pupil supervision as needed.
• Promote safeguarding and be a positive role model for pupils.
