Caterlink is hiring a Chef Manager in Hastings to lead on-site catering for schools. The role is term-time only, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no weekends, across 38 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in school catering or similar environment.
• Proven ability to lead a kitchen and frontline staff.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental compliance at the location.
• Uphold Caterlink's reputation for quality food and service with clients and customers.
• Oversee day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams, budgets, and inventories.
• Main point of contact for the client in your school with ongoing improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets with your line manager to ensure targets are met.
• Train and support teams; lead from the front to ensure training and performance.
