Job summary

Caterlink, the education sector catering specialist, is hiring a Chef Manager at Rochester Riverside School, Rochester. This term-time only role runs 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year, with a pay rate of £13.98 per hour.

You will prepare, cook and present food to required standards, ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety, and manage day-to-day operations including budgeting and team supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure location meets Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental requirements.
• Maintain Caterlink's reputation for high food quality and service with client and customers.
• Oversee day-to-day running of location and supervise teams, inventories and budgets.
• Be the main client contact in school, implementing improvements and adjustments.
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets with line manager to ensure goals are met.
• Train and develop teams, ensuring training is completed and performance is managed.
