Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef Manager at St Augustines of Canterbury Catholic Academy, St Helens to deliver nutritionally balanced and tasty meals. The role is term-time only with no weekends, offering a stable, flexible schedule and responsibility for cooking, cleaning and kitchen management.

You will lead a small team, supervise inventories and budgets, and be the main contact for the school client, ensuring high standards of food and service for around 200 meals daily during 40 school weeks.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards
• To ensure Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental compliance
• To maintain Caterlink's reputation for high-quality food and service
• To manage day-to-day running of the location and supervise inventories and budgets
• To be main client contact in the school and implement improvements
• To monitor KPIs and financial targets with line manager
• To train and develop teams and ensure performance is managed
