Job summary

Caterlink Ltd is hiring a Chef Manager for St Lawrence Primary School to deliver nutritionally balanced and tasty meals for pupils during term-time only. The role offers 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30–13:30, with no weekend work and 38 weeks per year.

You will supervise the site, manage inventories and budgets, ensure Health and Safety compliance, and work closely with the client to maintain high standards of food quality and service across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking and presenting meals to school standards.
• Ability to manage team and operations at a school site.
• Strong understanding of food safety and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to standards required by Caterlink and client.
• Ensure site meets Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Lead day-to-day running of the location, including supervising teams and managing inventories and budgets.
• Be the main point of contact for the client in the school and drive improvements.
