Job summary

Kenton Black Limited in Birmingham is recruiting a Proposals Coordinator to join the Birmingham team. The role focuses on coordinating the preparation, development and submission of tender and proposal documents, ensuring deadlines are met and documents are professionally presented.

You will liaise with bid managers, estimators and operations to gather information, maintain bid libraries, and support content development to showcase the company’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in proposals, bids, tenders or document coordination.
• Experience within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure would be advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
• A proactive approach to working with stakeholders across different departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation, development and submission of tender and proposal documents.
• Manage bid schedules, submission deadlines and document control throughout the tender process.
• Liaise with bid managers, estimators, commercial teams and operational staff to gather information for submissions.
• Produce and format professional tender documents, presentations and supporting materials.
• Ensure submissions comply with client instructions, evaluation criteria and formatting requirements.
• Maintain bid libraries, case studies, CVs, project references and company credentials.
• Support the development of compelling written content showcasing the company's experience and technical capabilities.
• Coordinate internal reviews, approvals and sign-off processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve bid processes and the overall quality of submissions.
