Job summary

Kenton Black Limited in Birmingham invites a Proposals Coordinator to join the team, supporting the preparation and delivery of high-quality tender submissions across civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

You will coordinate bid schedules, gather information from bid managers and operations, produce formatted documents, and help develop compelling content while ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in proposals, bids, tenders or document coordination.
• Construction/civil engineering or infrastructure experience is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• A proactive approach to cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation, development and submission of tender documents.
• Manage bid schedules, submission deadlines and document control.
• Liaise with bid managers, estimators, commercial teams and operations.
• Produce and format professional tender documents and materials.
• Ensure submissions comply with client instructions and criteria.
• Maintain bid libraries, case studies, CVs, and project references.
• Support development of written content showcasing capabilities.
• Coordinate internal reviews, approvals and sign-offs; identify process improvements.
