Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking a Proposals Coordinator in Birmingham to support the creation and submission of tender documents. You will work closely with bid, preconstruction, commercial and operations teams across a diverse civil engineering portfolio.

The role focuses on coordinating proposal activity, ensuring compliant, well-presented submissions delivered within tight deadlines. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating proposals, bids or tenders.
• Experience in construction, civil engineering or infrastructure is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation, development and submission of tender and proposal documents.
• Manage bid schedules, submission deadlines and document control throughout the tender process.
• Liaise with bid managers, estimators, commercial teams and operational staff to gather information for submissions.
• Produce and format professional tender documents, presentations and supporting materials.
• Ensure submissions comply with client instructions, evaluation criteria and formatting requirements.
• Maintain bid libraries, case studies, CVs, project references and company credentials.
• Support the development of written content showcasing the company's experience and technical capabilities.
• Coordinate internal reviews, approvals and sign-off processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve bid processes and the overall quality of submissions.
