Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you'll play a key role in driving sustainable growth across the region, combining proactive business development with the leadership of high-quality tender submissions to secure maintenance contracts across both public and private sector organisations.

Whether you're an experienced tender professional or an ambitious graduate looking to build a career in technical sales, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop within a growing and supportive business.

Why Join Us?

This role offers the chance to make a real impact within a well-established and growing business. You'll have the opportunity to build a strong pipeline of opportunities and work alongside experienced operational and technical teams to deliver winning solutions for customers. If you're motivated by relationship building, strategic selling and the challenge of securing contracts, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As Tender & Framework Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new maintenance business opportunities across the South region.

You’ll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and opportunity qualification through to tender submission, contract award and successful handover. Working closely with colleagues across Sales, Operations and Engineering, you’ll ensure every opportunity is approached strategically and professionally.

This is a field-based role with regular travel across the region to meet customers, attend site visits and support tender presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and target markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including estates teams, facilities managers, procurement professionals, consultants and end users.
  • Generate opportunities through networking, market intelligence, prospecting and strategic account development.
  • Engage with customers early in the procurement cycle to position the business ahead of formal tender opportunities.
  • Monitor framework agreements, procurement pipelines and tender portals to identify future opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of contract renewals, framework opportunities and new business prospects.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality bids, tenders and framework applications.

  • Coordinate operational, technical and commercial input to create competitive and compliant submissions.
  • Support pricing and commercial strategies to maximise both competitiveness and profitability.
  • Present proposals, attend clarification meetings and lead customer negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from contract award to operational mobilisation.
About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong business development skills with experience of winning work through competitive procurement routes.

You’ll be commercially aware, highly organised and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Most importantly, you’ll be motivated by identifying opportunities, building relationships and delivering results.

Skills & Experience

We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate some or all of the following:

  • Experience in business development, sales, bid management, account management or a customer-facing commercial role.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce professional, persuasive documents.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in developing a career in sales.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a willingness to learn.
  • Experience of tenders, frameworks, procurement processes or the lift industry would be advantageous, but is not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence.
What Success Looks Like
  • Building a strong and sustainable pipeline of future opportunities.
  • Increasing market presence across the South region.
  • Securing new maintenance contracts through frameworks, tenders and direct sales activity.
  • Developing long-term customer relationships that lead to repeat business and contract retention.
  • Contributing directly to the continued growth and success of the Service business.
New to the Industry? We'd Still Love to Hear From You

While experience in tender sales, bid management or the lift industry would be advantageous, we're equally interested in ambitious individuals who can demonstrate strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and a desire to build a successful sales career.
