Job summary

Praxis Group is seeking a proactive Building Manager for a circa 108,000 sq ft commercial office asset in Hook. You’ll be the visible on-site representative, delivering professional service to tenants, visitors and stakeholders, with a focus on tenant experience, ESG and building standards.

This role is not reactive: you’ll spot issues early, take ownership and coordinate the right people through to resolution, while maintaining high presentation, safety and contract coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in building management or front-of-house operations.
• Strong tenant, occupier and visitor service skills.
• Practical understanding of building operations and contractor coordination.
• Knowledge of health and safety, site procedures and compliance records.

Responsibilities

• Act as the visible on-site representative for the building, ensuring professional service to tenants, visitors and stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of building presentation, cleanliness, safety and environment across occupied and communal areas.
• Respond promptly to tenant queries, issues, and requests, recording and tracking progress through to resolution.
• Build strong relationships with tenants, occupiers, contractors and facilities teams.
• Conduct regular building inspections, identify defects and operational risks.
• Coordinate contractor attendance, access, permits and site procedures.
