Job summary

Chestertons Estate Agency in London seeks a Tenancy Consultant to join the Tenancy Services team at our Tower Bridge office. You will be the primary contact for tenants and landlords, ensuring a smooth tenancy lifecycle from start to renewal.

Strong knowledge of Housing Act legislation and experience in renewals are essential. You will manage rent reviews, Section 13 notices, variations, and complex tenancies, delivering accurate advice and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a tenancy, lettings, or renewals role with strong understanding of tenancy processes.
• Understanding of Housing Act legislation and its practical application.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct annual rent reviews.
• Serve Section 13 notices accurately and within statutory timelines.
• Coordinate requests such as change of sharer, renewals, and other variations.
• Demonstrates the capability to manage high-value and complex tenancies, adapting approach for arrangements such as short-lets and corporate tenancies.
• Ensure a positive, professional experience with tenants and landlords from tenancy commencement.
• Provide clear, informed advice on legislation, obligations, and tenancy processes.
