Job summary

Hyde Group, within the Neighbourhoods and Tenancy Services team, seeks a Tenancy Management Advisor to handle tenancy and anti-social behaviour cases. You will advise customers, assess cases, and work with partners, including police and social services, to move cases toward completion.

The role is hybrid with two days in the office and three remote, requiring knowledge of housing law and safeguarding, plus experience in managing customer cases.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing or supporting customer cases.
• Some knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy law, court processes and safeguarding in social housing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Calm, professional handling of sensitive or challenging situations.
• Accurate record keeping and case monitoring in CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage new tenancy and anti-social behaviour cases, keeping to agreed actions and timescales.
• Give customers clear, timely advice and promote early intervention and mediation.
• Prepare case plans, review risk assessments and elevate cases needing specialist support, safeguarding action or home visits.
• Manage tenancy requests and investigate abandoned homes, illegal subletting and breaches of tenancy.
• Keep accurate case records and work with colleagues and partners, including the police, social services and schools, to resolve cases.
