Ciwmjobs is seeking a Tenancy Sustainment Officer to manage a caseload of tenants in exempt accommodation from their Burnley office. The role combines tenancy management with direct housing-related support, helping tenants stay safe and move toward independent living.

Hours are 37.5 per week in a permanent, full-time post. Salary starts at £28,500 per year, depending on experience. Enhanced DBS check is required and the post may require work outside Burnley in the allocated area.

Formación

• Experience of supporting vulnerable adults in housing or social care.
• Understanding of safeguarding adults.
• Knowledge of Housing Benefit and Universal Credit.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Clear written and verbal communication; accurate record keeping.

Responsabilidades

• Complete needs and risk assessments for new tenants and review regularly.
• Develop and monitor person-centred support plans toward independence.
• Record all support interactions accurately to evidence care.
• Assist tenants with Housing Benefit and Universal Credit claims.
• Liaise with Adult Social Care, health services and local authorities.
• Carry out inspections, manage renewals, and support move-on.
• Report safeguarding concerns and participate in safeguarding meetings.
