Job summary

Ferrovial Construction seeks a Temporary Works Design Manager for HS2 Lot 3, based in London/Birmingham. You will lead the design and delivery of temporary works, coordinating with civil, signalling and supplier teams to meet HS2 standards and CDM requirements.

The role requires extensive experience in large infrastructure projects, a civil engineering degree, and strong leadership across multi-disciplinary teams. Chartered status is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or equivalent is required.
• Extensive design/engineering management experience in large infrastructure projects.
• Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer preferred.
• Experience in railway environments and TW large-scale delivery is desirable.
• Ability to manage complex interfaces and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of temporary works and related schemes for HS2 Lot 3.
• Coordinate with civil, signalling and railway systems teams and external designers.
• Ensure compliance with CDM, standards and Works Information.
• Oversee procurement, logistics and on-site TW management and training.
