Ferrovial Construction is seeking a Temporary Works Design Manager to join the HS2 Track infrastructure project. Based in Birmingham during the initial design phase, you will lead the design of temporary railheads and related works, ensuring HS2 standards and safety regulations are met, and coordinating with civil, design, and supplier teams.

You'll manage interfaces across site teams and internal Ferrovial BAM JV groups, oversee TW design delivery and compliance, and drive program development

Formación

• Degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer preferred.
• Experience in railway environments is advantageous.
• Proven experience managing TW large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Good people management and coordination of designers.

Responsabilidades

• Overall responsibility for ensuring temporary works comply with correct processes and standards.
• Ensure temporary works are constructed to the design and specifications.
• Be the main point of contact between the designer and site team for TW matters.
• Coordinate training and competency checks for on-site temporary works teams.
• Manage subcontractors and supply chain for TW design and execution.
• Maintain training records and documentation across the project.
• Coordinate TW design interfaces between site teams, designers, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure design competency checks meet CDM requirements.
• Lead delivery planning for TW design and interface management.
