Job summary

National Grid is offering a temporary Team Support role based in Telford. You will handle customer calls, coordinate team activities, manage schedules, and support data entry and invoicing. The role requires strong communication, organisation, and IT skills, with full training provided.

Applicants should have English and Maths GCSE at level C/4 or higher or Functional Skills Level 2. Progression to higher pay may occur after 12 months based on knowledge and performance.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at C/Level 4 or above (or Functional Skills Level 2).
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Able to work effectively in a busy team and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internal IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate construction/maintenance/replacement work.
• Coordinate team activities and respond to network faults.
• Handle customer enquiries in person, verbally and in writing.
• Assist Team Manager with work programming and data entry.
• Input data into databases and support Field Teams.
