Job summary

Planet Recruitment is seeking a temporary Sales Support based on the outskirts of Cowley, near Oxford. You will assist in lead generation, engage customers and coordinate orders in a fast-paced sales environment.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am–5pm; due to location you should ideally drive but public transport is acceptable. The role offers exposure to high-value products and opportunities to develop key sales skills in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
• Experience selling high-value products preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Sales Support: Assist in identifying and engaging potential customers to drive sales.
• Customer Consultation: Provide tailored recommendations, highlighting the benefits of our premium pergolas and accessories.
• Order Coordination: Support the sales process by ensuring a smooth transition from inquiry to purchase.
• Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend additional products, such as accessories or maintenance services.
• Competitor & Market Research: Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings to support sales strategies.
• Event & Exhibition Assistance: Help prepare for and attend sales events to showcase our products and engage with customers.
• Sales Performance Tracking: Maintain lead records in the CRM and assist in analysing sales performance to improve strategies.
