Job summary

Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded residential operator in Leatherhead for a Temporary Resident Host to join their on-site team. This fast-paced, guest-facing role requires a warm, professional front of house presence, handling post room, inquiries in HubSpot, and coordinating events.

You will report to the Resident Manager and cover shifts across Saturdays, with handover training beforehand.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service or front-of-house experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Polished, personable manner with strong organizational skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and learn new IT platforms like HubSpot.
• Willing to work Saturdays on a rota and provide cover before Christmas.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional front of house and reception service to residents, visitors and contractors, in person and by phone.
• Manage post room, logging, storage and collection of parcels and deliveries.
• Monitor resident emails and queries in HubSpot and resolve or escalate appropriately.
• Handle resident concerns and complaints calmly and professionally.
• Manage resident expectations clearly and diplomatically while maintaining relationships.
• Keep reception, communal areas and the office clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
• Plan and organise the Christmas programme of resident events, including tree installation and decorations.
• Liaise with maintenance, housekeeping, night caretaker and operations teams to ensure issues are logged and followed up.
• Carry out opening and closing duties, including closing reception and the office at the end of the shift before the night team begins.
