Job Description

  • Welcoming and directing visitors in a professional manner.
  • Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls.
  • Handling basic inquiries and sorting daily mail.
  • Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
  • Performing clerical duties, such as photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
  • Updating and maintaining office policies and procedures.
  • Ordering office supplies and keeping inventory of stock.
  • Assisting in the organization and scheduling of internal events.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Temporary Receptionist should have:
