Responsibilities

  • Coordinating Directors' workloads, priorities and day-to-day activities.
  • Managing complex diaries, schedules and forward planning for senior leaders.
  • Monitoring Director mailboxes, prioritising correspondence and following up actions.
  • Preparing senior-level documents, correspondence and meeting materials.
  • Organising operational and leadership meetings, including agendas and minutes.
  • Establishing administrative processes to support Directors and senior teams.
  • Providing support across the Executive Support Team and covering colleagues when required.
  • Assisting with Board and senior leadership matters as needed.

Personal Assistant - Slough - £13-£16 per hour – Hybrid

About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to provide high-level support to senior Directors, working closely with the wider Executive Support Team.

You will be responsible for keeping demanding schedules, meetings and administrative processes running efficiently while handling sensitive information with discretion. The position requires someone who can anticipate priorities, work independently and build effective relationships across the organisation and with external partners.

Duties will include:
  • Coordinating Directors' workloads, priorities and day-to-day business activities.
  • Managing complex diaries, schedules and forward planning to ensure senior leaders' time is used effectively.
  • Monitoring Director mailboxes, prioritising correspondence and ensuring actions are followed through with the appropriate colleagues.
  • Preparing and coordinating senior-level documentation, correspondence and meeting materials.
  • Organising operational and leadership meetings, including producing agendas, distributing papers and taking accurate minutes.
  • Establishing effective administrative processes to support Directors and their senior management teams.
  • Providing additional support across the Executive Support Team and covering colleagues when required.
  • Assisting with Board and senior leadership matters when needed.
  • Maintaining records and monitoring key statutory requirements, ensuring relevant colleagues are aware of deadlines, progress and outstanding actions.
  • Handling confidential and sensitive matters appropriately, including information relating to safeguarding.
  • Supporting the preparation and provision of management information.
  • Liaising with internal teams and partner organisations to ensure senior leaders receive timely information and support.
About the Successful Applicant

You will have proven PA experience supporting Director-level stakeholders, with excellent diary management, organisation, minute-taking and written communication skills. You will be confident handling confidential information, balancing competing priorities and working with minimal supervision. Strong Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint skills are required.
