Job description

Ashley Kate is delighted to support a growing business in recruiting a temporary HR Officer based at their Doncaster site.

This is a full-time, fully onsite role, Monday to Friday, with a salary range of £35,000 - £40,000. Please note this is a temporary position, with hours expected to meet business commitments. (Apply online only)

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Participate in HR meetings and contribute ideas.
  2. Manage and implement HR initiatives to meet organizational goals.
  3. Assist in employee relations, escalating complex issues to management.
  4. Support the wider HR team with various activities.
  5. Oversee performance appraisals and support managers in employee development.
  6. Identify training and development needs across the workforce.
  7. Collaborate with payroll to resolve payroll-related queries.
  8. Generate HR data, metrics, and reports.
  9. Assist with recruitment activities, including posting jobs, reviewing applications, and scheduling interviews.
About You - HR Officer
  • Strong generalist HR experience with a proven track record managing employee relations cases.
  • Qualified to CIPD Level or relevant qualification.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
