Job summary

Angard Recruitment supports Royal Mail in recruiting a Post Person with Driving for temporary delivery routes. You will be the face of Royal Mail in the community, delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot, with shifts that vary to match demand.

Applicants must hold a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 points), be physically fit to walk long distances, and adapt quickly to changing schedules. A driving assessment is required to start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require team adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route, on foot and in the vehicle.
• Ensure items reach their destination safely and on time.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items in line with business standards.
