Job summary

The Sheffield College is seeking a temporary maternity cover Events Lead to coordinate and drive the college's events function. The role focuses on delivering core college events, open days, employer events and staff conferences while collaborating with external partners for sponsorships and on- and off-campus activities.

You will work with the Marketing and Communications teams to develop event materials, promote the college, and ensure events align with GDPR and sustainability goals, while

Responsibilities

• Lead and co-ordinate the events function and manage project requirements, including stand design, attendee management, marketing materials, AV, promotion and budget.
• Lead core college events such as open days, award celebrations, employer events and staff conferences.
• Create and review risk assessments for college events.
• Coordinate with senior staff and curriculum areas to ensure event requirements are met.
• Collaborate with external partners for on-campus and off-campus events and sponsorships.
• Support Learner Recruitment Team with high-quality recruitment, taster and UCAS events.
