Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting.
• A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one) and safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and GCSE English specifications.
• Use assessment data to monitor progress and address attainment gaps.
• Maintain a focused, inclusive learning environment with strong behaviour management.
• Act as a Form Tutor to support student wellbeing.
