Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels in your community, combining van driving with foot deliveries. You will work in a fast-paced outdoor role across your delivery area, focusing on safe, secure delivery of all items.

Shifts vary (day, dawn, early, evening, nights) with pay rates shown. Requires a full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and the ability to walk long distances; a driving assessment is required on start.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full UK licence with no more than 6 points.
• Must be physically fit; ability to walk long distances and carry mailbags up to 16kg.
• Able to work flexible shifts on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your community, driving a Royal Mail van as part of your round.
• Assist with on-foot deliveries within your route and ensure items reach customers safely.
• Adhere to Royal Mail standards and pass a driving assessment at start.
