Job summary

Middlesbrough Council has a permanent opening for a Temporary Accommodation Broker Co-Ordinator. You will partner with the Housing Solutions team to arrange emergency, interim, and temporary placements and manage related administration.

You'll liaise with providers for up-to-date documentation, track all placements with a focus on timely move-on, and ensure accurate reporting for managers and finance colleagues. A blended home/office working environment is available where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating emergency and temporary accommodation placements.
• Able to manage administration for placements and records.

• Work in close partnership with the Housing Solutions team to arrange emergency, interim, and temporary accommodation placements.
• Carry out all associated administration of the placements.
• Liaise with accommodation providers to ensure up to date essential documentation is provided and logged.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to track all placements to help ensure timely move on.
• Record information accurately to ensure reporting data is correct for service managers and finance colleagues.
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and other local authorities around placement in and out of the area.

Whilst in post there will be development opportunities alongside flexible working with the option of a blended working environment (home and office where appropriate).
