Job summary

Driver Hire Preston is recruiting a Temporary 3.5T Driver / Warehouse Operative to support a busy operation in Chorley during the run-up to Christmas. The role combines driving duties with warehouse tasks, including multi-drop deliveries and stock handling.

You will hold a valid UK Category B licence, be flexible to switch between driving and warehouse work, and be prepared for nationwide deliveries and occasional overnight stays. Immediate start available, 12.71 per hour, Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Category B licence and be capable of performing multi-drop deliveries.
• Experience in warehouse duties is preferred and beneficial.
• Willingness to switch between driving and warehouse tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5T van for deliveries and multi-drop routes.
• Assist with warehouse duties including unloading, stock placement and order preparation.
• Prepare pallets and orders for collection and delivery.
• Provide good customer service and complete relevant paperwork.
