Meridian Business Support Ltd is recruiting a Warehouse Operative / Driver near Tarporley, Cheshire. Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, £13.01 per hour, weekly pay, temporary to permanent. The role blends warehouse tasks with local deliveries and involves loading, unloading, and stock management.

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and be comfortable driving a 3.5-tonne van; 25+ due to insurance; permanent contract potential for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Confidence driving 3.5-tonne vehicles.
• Experience in warehouse, stores or logistics.
• Able to perform regular manual handling and lifting.
• Aged 25 or over due to vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing furniture orders for dispatch.
• Unloading containers and moving stock throughout the site.
• Loading and securing products onto company vehicles.
• Completing local and regional deliveries using a 3.5-tonne van.
• Processing returns and carrying out basic product checks.
• Maintaining accurate stock locations and tidy work areas.
• Supporting colleagues to ensure orders are completed on time.
• Following safe manual handling and health and safety procedures.
