Job summary

Driver Hire Preston are currently recruiting a Temporary 3.5T Driver / Warehouse Operative to support their busy operation in Chorley. The role combines driving with warehouse duties, with the workload shifting between deliveries and stock handling.

The ideal candidate will hold a UK Category B licence, be comfortable with nationwide deliveries and occasional overnight stays, and be reliable, punctual and physically fit for manual handling. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid UK Category B driving licence.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries.
• Comfortable with driving and warehouse duties.
• Willing to travel nationwide including overnight stays.
• Aged 25 or over due to vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5T van and complete deliveries as required.
• Assist with warehouse duties when not driving.
• Load and unload vehicles and complete relevant paperwork.
• Occasional overnight stays with hotel accommodation provided.
