Job summary

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Worcester is recruiting a temporary 1:1 Level 1 Teaching Assistant to support a Reception pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The role requires consistent 1:1 adult support throughout the day to access learning and develop communication skills.

You will work with the class teacher and SENCo to provide responsive scaffolding, support transitions and facilitate engagement in both indoor and outdoor activities.

Qualifications

• Temporary 1:1 Level 1 Teaching Assistant for Reception child with EHCP
• Supports access to learning and emotional regulation
• Assists development of communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive 1:1 support throughout the school day
• Support transitions and engage the child in structured and continuous provision
• Assist in indoor and outdoor activities, lunchtimes and playtimes
