Job summary

Reeson Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Reception pupil at a welcoming Sikh school in Southall. The role focuses on helping the child engage with learning and build essential early skills within a supportive classroom environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and the wider support team, promoting confidence, independence and positive participation in activities throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in Early Years or Primary settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Reception pupil.
• Support the child's learning, development and engagement.
• Assist with classroom activities and encourage positive participation.
• Help develop confidence, independence and social skills.
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider support team.
• Promote a positive and nurturing learning environment.
