Job summary

Humly North East is seeking a dedicated Reception 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a young learner in a Stockton primary school from September on a full-time basis for one term. You will provide focused support to a Reception-aged child, helping them access lessons, build confidence and participate in classroom activities within a friendly school community.

Collaborating with the class teacher and SEN coordinators, you will monitor progress and adapt activities to suit individual needs,

Qualifications

• Experience working with Early Years children.
• Calm, caring and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with SEN/behavioural needs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support a Reception-aged child to access learning and participate in classroom activities.
• Help the child develop confidence and independence within the school environment.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SEN staff to implement learning strategies and track progress.
