Job summary

Pertemps Plymouth Commercial seeks an experienced HR professional for a Temporary Assistant HR Business Partner role in Devon. The role offers a 2-month contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with immediate joining support from a busy People Team.

You will partner with managers, handle employee relations, and drive people initiatives in a fast-paced environment. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR experience is expected, with a UK driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR experience preferred.
• Exposure to employee relations and casework.
• Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support to managers across business areas.
• Manage employee relations cases from start to finish.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and benefits processes.
• Contribute to People Plans and HR projects.
• Analyse HR data and produce reports for decision-making.
• Support workforce planning and organisational change initiatives.
• Drive improvements in HR service delivery.
