Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting flexible Post Persons with Driving to serve communities across the delivery area. You will drive a Royal Mail van, often walking parts of your route to complete deliveries and provide excellent service in all weather conditions.

This temporary role requires a full UK driving licence (max 6 points), physical stamina for up to 20,000 steps daily, and the ability to adapt to changing shifts. Training and safety checks are provided as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points is required.
• Be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps per day and to lift a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts vary and adaptability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as the face of Royal Mail in your community.
• Drive a Royal Mail van on your designated route and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Ensure secure, accurate delivery and handle election materials in line with business standards.
