Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine and driving routes with parts completed on foot.

A Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points is required; you must be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps daily and carry mailbags up to 16 kg.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points – you’ll be driving a Royal Mail van as part of your round.
• Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your route as the face of Royal Mail in your community.
• Drive the Royal Mail delivery van and complete parts of your route on foot while providing exceptional service.
