Job summary

Cheltpro in Ilkeston is seeking an experienced Telesales Team Leader to oversee a team of around 8 Executives, driving sales performance and customer service. You will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and support while ensuring targets are met.

The role requires a strong telesales background, proven leadership and the ability to develop people, with a focus on process improvements and delivering results.

Qualifications

• Strong telesales and customer service background.
• Experience leading, coaching or developing a team.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of sales techniques and ability to identify sales opportunities.
• Strong IT and administration skills.
• Commercially focused and solutions-driven.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
• Experience working with reports and identifying performance trends.
• Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience in contact centre or similar environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of Telesales Executives.
• Communicate departmental goals, targets and expectations.
• Coach team members through monitoring and 1-2-1 sessions.
• Support recruitment, training, holiday planning, performance and absence management.
• Monitor team performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure preparedness for customer calls and resolve queries or product issues.
• Drive engagement with sales incentives and identify missed sales opportunities.
• Support daily team huddles and encourage open communication.
• Implement new processes and train on changes.

Telesales Team Leader Ilkeston £29,016 per annum | Monday?Friday | 8:30am?5:00pm | 40 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Telesales Team Leader to join a well-established and growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Telesales or Customer Service professional who enjoys leading a team, developing people and driving both sales performance and exceptional customer service. You'll take responsibility for a direct team of approximately 8 Telesales Executives, providing day-to-day leadership, coaching and support while ensuring individual and team targets are consistently achieved.

The Role

• Leading, motivating and supporting a team of Telesales Executives
• Communicating departmental goals, targets and expectations
• Coaching/developing team members through call monitoring, side-by-side sessions, regular 1-2-1s
• Supporting recruitment, training, development, holiday planning, performance and absence management
• Monitoring team performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Ensuring the team is prepared for customer calls and able to proactively resolve customer queries, complaints and product issues
• Driving engagement with sales incentives and identifying missed sales opportunities
• Supporting daily team huddles and encouraging open communication and collaboration
• Implementing new processes and ensuring team members are fully trained on any changes
