Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Northampton (office based) is seeking a Telesales Lead Generator to identify and engage potential customers, generating qualified appointments for Business Development Managers across the UK. You will drive new business opportunities through proactive outbound calls and meticulous CRM updates.

The role offers a Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm schedule, a £30,000–£35,000 salary plus uncapped commission (OTE £40,000+), and a permanent, full-time position in a bright, growing team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a new business lead generation, telesales, appointment-setting or outbound sales role.
• Confident making a high volume of outbound calls.
• Resilient and thick-skinned with the ability to handle rejection positively.
• Target-driven with a strong desire to succeed.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
• Positive attitude with plenty of energy and enthusiasm.
• Comfortable working in a busy office environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact prospective clients via telephone to generate new business opportunities.
• Book qualified sales appointments for Business Development Managers.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads.
• Qualify business requirements and gather key customer information.
• Follow up on marketing campaigns and sales enquiries.
• Accurately update CRM systems and sales records.
• Work towards and exceed individual KPIs and targets.
• Represent the business professionally and positively at all times.
